'Zatima' Season 3 Release: Lead actor gives THIS update



When will Zatima Season 3 be released? There is no official update, but one of the BET+ series’ biggest stars has dropped a hint. The Sistas spin-off is hurdling towards the third season, but it is not clear when it will hit the screen. The audiences want to know what will happen to lead characters Zac and Fatima, and Zatima fanatics are eager to know when the series will finally be released.

In a video clip shared by Zacfatima on its X (formerly Twitter) account, series lead actors Devale Ellis and Crystal Renee Hayslett can be seen talking to the camera on an escalator, revealing “Zatima Season 3 is coming out.
Ellis: “‘Zatima’ Season 3 is coming out soon. I can’t wait for y’all to see it.”

Hayslett: “So good.”

But the word ‘soon’ does not make it clear when the series would be released. But, it hints that fans will not have to wait as long as they did for Seasons 1 and 2.

When may Zatima Season 3 be released?

Zatima Season 1 finished filming in December 2021 and it was released nine months later in September 2022. Season 2 of the ‘Sistas’ spin-off took two months less. After finishing principal photography in August 2022, it was released seven months later, in March 2023.

Zatima Season 3 completed filming on December 22, 2023. If it takes around the same time as Seasons 1 and 2 (between seven and nine months), Season 3 may be released in late summer or early fall 2024.
