YouTube to start multiview option for YouTube TV subscribers. All you need to know


YouTube will start testing a multiview feature for subscribers of YouTube TV. The feature will allow YouTube TV subscribers to watch four pre-selected games at a same time, according to a report.

YouTube’s announcement came at a time when viewers in the US are gearing up for Major League Baseball’s opening day. It is also a big development amidst March Madness, as per the USA Today report.

YouTube is likely to roll out the multiview feature in the upcoming months for YouTube TV subscribers. The Google-owned company is also planning to include multiview feature on YouTube app across TVs in the later half in 2023, the USA Today report says.

“YouTube TV is home for sports fans and we want to ensure that we offer our members the best sports viewing experience on TV,” according to a blog by YouTube.

YouTube TV will send email notification to subscribers who will be allowed to avail multiview. Subsequently, the subscribers will be able to watch in “Top Picks for You” section.

YouTube will continue to work in order to improve its multiview experience ahead of the kick off of National Football League.
