Your Galaxy S23 is about to look second-rate and these new images prove it

If you’ve just dashed out in the Black Friday sales and treated yourself to a shiny new Galaxy S23 then look away now. It appears that Samsung is working on something even better and newly released images could prove that an S24 is coming very soon. The pictures, which have been published by the team at Window Report, claim to show how the new flagship Galaxy S24 ultra will look and, if true, they back up claims that Samsung is making some changes.

Numerous reports have suggested that S24 Ultra will ditch the slightly curved display – currently found on the S23 Ultra – in favour of a fully flat 6.8-inch panel.

Photos of this device show exactly how that new display looks with things pushing right to the edges of the chassis. Although curved panels look stunning they aren’t always that practical and there has been some criticism of this design in the past – it looks like that issue will be ironed out on S24 Ultra.

Along with the new screen, the photos also show that the Ultra will keep its S Pen stylus and quad-lens camera on the rear.

Exciting colours could be added to the range – including a Yellow shade – along with a faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor tucked inside.

This new chip, which was announced back in October, not only offers big gains in performance but also improved efficiency and more advanced AI. It’s a big update over the Gen 2 brain and should make the S24 Ultra faster and much smarter.

Of course, it’s not just about the Ultra.

Those wanting the cheaper Galaxy S24 could find a more industrial-style design comes to the devices in 2024 with images showing plenty of metal and subtle colours launching.

A triple-lens snapper appears to be included along with a 6.1-inch screen.

According to Windows Report, and numerous other leaks, the S24 won’t pack that Qualcomm processor with Samsung opting for its own Exynos 2400 chip instead.

Of course, these are just leaks for now but hopefully, it won’t be too long until we find out official details. Rumours are rife that Samsung will bring forward its launch of the S24 range to January which means a grand unveiling could take place as soon as next month.

If that’s true, expect invites to be sent out to the Unpacked event very soon. Watch this space!
