WSI Technologies, a public sector-focused technology solutions provider and parent company of iRecord and Evertel, is pleased to announce its iRecord Cloud offering has been Nominated to Compete in the 2023 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Program.
WSI Technologies’ iRecord Cloud storage solution enhances the efficiency of public safety work by streamlining evidence sharing and modernizing the investigatory process.
With over 20 years of experience in the child advocacy, law enforcement, and healthcare industries, iRecord has created direct solutions to inefficiencies when dealing with interview evidence.
Implemented in more than 600 child advocacy centers, iRecord’s digital recording ecosystem keeps sensitive interview data secure using advanced software methodology.
Safeguarding evidence data is at the core of iRecord Cloud. The robust cloud solution mitigates the risk of losing data by backing up files using Geo-Redundant Storage replicating the data across two geographically distributed data centers.
iRecord Cloud also minimizes open firewall ports and relies on stringent encryption standards and a secure hashing algorithm to protect data at rest and in transit.
Cloud storage eliminates the manual process of downloading and sharing files back and forth. Instead of relying on USB drives and other physical methods of interview evidence sharing, investigators and prosecutors can access iRecord video recordings at any time and from anywhere.

They can also add notes, make redactions, and share encrypted files with additional agency members. These remote-access options allow public safety agencies to keep up with an increasingly mobile, remote, and hybrid workforce.
While creating an intuitive and convenient method of storing and sharing interview recordings, iRecord Cloud strictly complies with federal, state, and local requirements for evidence data storage.
iRecord is currently working on launching an evidence vault cloud solution to easily categorize, index, and retrieve archived evidence data as part of a global modernization effort by the company, with additional plans to offer enhanced case management solutions and video analytics in the future.
