TVS recently launched its premium electric crossover two-wheeler TVS X, targeting the millennials and Gen Z population in India and abroad. Launched at an introductory price of Rs 2.50 lakh, the electric two-wheeler comes with a high-performance battery pack that delivers 4.44 kWh of installed capacity of energy, acceleration of 0-40 kilometres per hour in 2.6 seconds, and a sustained maximum speed of 105 kmph. The in-house battery management system at TVS Motor ensures safe operation and a prolonged lifespan of cells by continuously monitoring current flow.
Customers will get the option of a Smart X home rapid charger that delivers 0–50 per cent in 50 minutes (optional add-on 3 kW fast charger) or a portable charger that delivers 0-80 per cent in 4 hours and 30 minutes (950W charger). The electric two-wheeler comes with a unique feature of a 10.2-inch HD+ TFT touchscreen, the largest in this class, and offers navigation, music, video offerings, gaming options, etc. to the rider.

Ather 450X
This one comes in two battery variants: a 3.7kW model offering 150 km range and a 2.9 kW model with 111 km range. Its 6.4kW PMSM motor with an instant torque of 26 Nm offers 90 km/h top speed with acceleration from 0 to 40 in 3.3 seconds. Its 7-inch touchscreen with a Snapdragon quadcore processor and 2 GB RAM offers Android OS, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G connectivity, a map for navigation, and others. Other than that, the Ather electric scooter offers Park assist, autohold, 22-litre boot space, side stand sensors, auto-indicator cut-off, guide me home light, monoshock suspension, and document storage. The 3.7 kW model is priced at Rs 1,28,365, while the 2.9 kW model costs Rs 1,25,550 (exshowroom, Delhi).

Ola S1 Pro 2nd Gen
Available at Rs 1,47,499, the S1 Pro 2nd Gen claims to offer a certified range of 195 km, 11 kW peak power, and a top speed of 120 km/h. With an acceleration of 0 to 40 in 2.6 seconds, Ola claims the S1 Pro 2nd Gen is the fastest electric scooter in India. Available in five different colours, the EV comes with a digital key, four driving modes (eco, normal, sports, and hyper), 34-litre boot space, a 7-inch screen, disc brakes, twin telescopic front suspension, monoshock rear suspension, and alloy wheels.

Bajaj Chetak
It is priced at Rs 1.3 lakh. The Chetak EV has a steel body, Bluetooth connectivity, a 108 km range, a top speed of 63 km/h, and a 2.9 kWh battery. As per Bajaj, the EV can be charged in just four hours with a standard 5A plug.

Vida V1 Pro
Hero MotoCorp‘s VIDA V1 Pro is available for Rs 1,45,900 including the FAME II subsidy and portable charger. It offers a 110-kilometre range, a top speed of 80 km/h, and a 7 inc display. Its 3.9 kW motor with 6 kW peak power and 25 Nm torque claims to offer acceleration of 0 to 40 in 3.2 seconds. It has Eco, Ride, and Sport modes, and you can also create a custom mode. Other than that, it has keyless entry, an electronic seat lock, follow-me home lights, and incoming call alert features. The motor in the EV is IP68-certified, while the battery is IP67-certified. Hero is offering a 3 year/30,000 km warranty on the battery and a 5 year/50,000 km warranty on the vehicle. The Vida V1 Pro is available in white, red, orange, black, and cyan colours.
