Woman credits 20lb weight loss to 'game-changing' diet change

A spirited woman who shed an impressive 20lbs over a four-month period has divulged her personal strategy, hoping it could spur others to action.

“Remember that everyone’s bodies are different and that’s okay”, @dabrionne posted on social media, emphasising that “consistency” was her secret weapon during her transformation.

She advocates starting with dietary adjustments before embarking on other methods, revealing: “Limiting my carb intake is what works for me” – but she admitted to once attempting to exclude carbs entirely, which only led to misery.

Dabrionne openly confessed the simple truth behind her weight loss, saying she “stopped overeating”.

Narrated over a clip where she’s seen meticulously chopping veggies and flavouring salmon with gusto, she explained: “At the beginning of my health and fitness journey I tried to cut out carbs altogether but my body was like ‘No girl, you need that fuel’ so I was like ‘I’ll cut them out at night’.”

A lover of pasta and dairy products, Dabrionne admits to battling lactose intolerance, leading to “bloat very easily”, and acknowledged these as significant considerations in devising her new dietary regimen.

“I was just not doing what my body needed me to do so I did a test run of veggie and protein dinners and that was a game-changer”, she declared, as viewers watch her expertly season the vegetables, transforming them into caramelised treats.

She enthused about her newfound passion, saying: “I fell in love with the gym, and I changed my diet, and consistency is definitely the best recipe“, while flaunting her garlic-smothered salmon and a hefty serving of vegetables.

In the comments section, an inspired follower shared her own progress: “I’m on the same tack. 6 pounds down in 5 weeks, slow and steady. I like carbs once per day! ” to which Dabrionne responded warmly: “I’m rooting for you! “.

Another commenter expressed their weight loss journey: “I’m 15 pounds down in 1 month. It is not easy but consistency is definitely key. I’m definitely about to go make this meal”.
