WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund files draft for large & mid cap, thematic fund



WhiteOak Mutual Fund has filed draft for two schemes: WhiteOak Capital Large & Mid Cap Fund and WhiteOak Capital Banking & Financial Services Fund.

WhiteOak Capital Large & Mid Cap Fund

WhiteOak Capital Large & Mid Cap Fund will be an open-ended equity scheme investing in both large cap and mid cap stocks. The primary objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in and managing a diversified portfolio of equity and equity related instruments of large and mid cap companies. The scheme will be benchmarked against S&P BSE 250 Large MidCap TRI. The scheme will be managed by Ramesh Mantri (equity investments), Trupti Agrawal, Piyush Baranwal (debt investments), and Shariq Merchant (overseas investments).

The scheme will invest 70-100% in equity and equity related instruments of large and mid cap companies, and 0-30% in equity and equity related instruments other than above, 0-30% in debt securities and money market instruments, and 0-10% in units issued by REITs and InvITs.

WhiteOak Capital Banking & Financial Services Fund

WhiteOak Capital Banking & Financial Services Fund will be an open-ended equity scheme investing in the banking & financial services sector. The scheme will be benchmarked against Nifty Financial Services Total Return Index (TRI). The scheme will be managed by Ramesh Mantri (equity investments), Trupti Agrawal (equity investments), Piyush Baranwal (debt investments), and Shariq Merchant (overseas investments).The primary objective of the scheme is to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related instruments of banks & companies engaged in the Financial Services Sector.

The scheme will invest 80-100% in equity and equity related instruments of banks and companies engaged in financial services sector, 0-20% in equity and equity related instruments companies other than financial services sector, 0-20% in debt securities and money market instruments, and 0-10% in units issued by REITS and InVITs.

The schemes will offer direct and regular plans with growth option only. The minimum application amount for investment in these schemes will be Rs 500 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.
