As nations collectively pivot towards a sustainable future, the amalgamation of inventive solutions and shared commitment becomes not just an ideal but an urgent requirement.

As per the International Energy Agency (IEA),  transport emissions have been growing at a 1.7% yearly pace from 1990 to 2022. Except for industry, this is the fastest-growing sector. To achieve Net Zero Emissions (NZE) by 2050, CO2 emissions from the transport sector must decline by more than 3% annually until 2030.

In the quest for a more sustainable tomorrow, the evolution of mobility plays a pivotal role. The classic story of automotive transportation is undergoing a major transformation, fueled by a societal  determination to tackle climate change, reduce emissions, and reshape urban landscapes.

According to McKinsey, India is poised to embrace an electric vehicle (EV) future, with an impressive 70% of tier-one car consumers indicating their willingness to consider an electric car for their next vehicle. This percentage surpasses the global average, which currently stands at a record-high of 52%. This data underscores a significant shift in consumer preferences within the Indian automotive market, signaling a pivotal moment in the country’s journey towards sustainable mobility.

We must thus recognize the transformative potential of ITS, illustrating how data-driven solutions can optimize traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance overall mobility experiences.
