Michigan State transfer Matilda Ekh joins the group and gives the Hokies another weapon on the wing. Ekh, who started 57 of 59 career games with the Spartans, scored 11.8 points per game in East Lansing and also contributed three rebounds and two assists per game. She shoots the three at a clip of 39%.
Two true freshmen: Samyha Suffren and Gabby Brooks round out the group. Suffren, a Charlotte native, was ranked 69 in the 2023 ESPN HoopGurlz rankings. Brooks played at Blacksburg High where she developed a reputation as a shooter.
