Watch out Samsung – a smart new way to watch TV has been unveiled by LG

Samsung might be the most popular TV maker on the planet but it’s getting more competition from arch-rival LG. The Korean technology firm has just revealed its plans for the year ahead which includes the release of a new device that’s aimed at those who want a more stylish way of watching the telly.

The unique LG CineBeam Qube has been designed to look good enough to place on any shelf or posh coffee table with it featuring a small and sophisticated metal design. When it’s time for a movie or boxset binge, this projector can then beam a stunning 4K image onto any wall up to a size of 120 inches.

LG is even boasting that it comes equipped with an RGB laser light source and cutting-edge image-refining technologies. That all makes sure the image it produces displays content just as the creators intended.

Additionally, LG’s premium 4K projector also features Auto Screen Adjustment, which automatically optimises image placement and size for a better viewing experience.

It’s fully internet-connected and offers instant access to all the most popular streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and YouTube.

“Great for spaces large and small, LG CineBeam Qube is a unique lifestyle projector possessing all the qualities consumers look for when choosing a new projection solution,” said YS Lee, vice president and head of the IT business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “LG’s upgraded projector lineup offers a range of lifestyle-enriching devices that present outstanding spatial integration and versatility as well as immersive, cinematic viewing experiences.”
