Volkswagen Will Launch 11 New EVs By 2027 – CarBuzz


Some may see this as cause for concern, but Schaefer has faith in the strength of the brand and expects things to improve in the near future. “We assume that the share of electric cars in Europe will increase significantly in the coming years,” said Schaefer, adding that the current drop in popularity of its offerings is no more than an “intermediate low.”

We know that Volkswagen has plenty of new vehicles in the works, and we’ve even uncovered the names of many of these future products. While it’s nearly impossible to predict which of the combustion-powered cars in VW’s range will be first to be killed off, it’s clear that the Golf will become an EV, and most other new arrivals will likely be crossovers and SUVs.
