Hundreds of Vodafone broadband customers have been unable to get online after the provider suffered an outage in various regions across the country.
Customers in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham are among those lodging reports on Down Detector.
The problems seemed to appear just before 9am, as many people were logging on to start work for the week.
More than three-quarters of the reports refer to broadband, with 18% relating to mobile internet.
Vodafone has not confirmed what is causing the problem, but has replied to individual customers raising the issues on X, formerly Twitter.
One customer, Andrew Neilly, wrote: ‘@VodafoneUK just changed over from BT to Vodafone broadband today and can’t connect to internet or when I do it drops after a few minutes. Massive issue when I work from home.’
Vodafone’s customer service team suggested using its broadband support tool, but it was unsuccessful.
‘Yep done that, no help just told to wait,’ replied Mr Neilly. ‘Obviously I work from home and this will now cause a day of lost income. I’m glad I’m on my cooling off period.’
Steph Meep reported she was having the same issues, writing: ‘Mine is the same today. Done all the tests and nothing. Told to chat online and no one is available, phone lines all busy. It’s great.’
