I had fallen in love with Nazia as soon as I had heard ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ from the Qurbani double LP that my brother had bought. The inside cover had photos of Nazia and the new King of Disco, Biddu (Appaiah). Then in 1981, Disco Deewane came out, and I would listen to that LP for hours on end.
