University of Michigan Athletics Redesigns Digital Platforms with … – MGoBlue

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan Athletic Department announced Wednesday (Aug. 9) that it has once again partnered with SIDEARM Sports to redesign the delivery of digital content. The newest iteration of the Michigan Athletics official website and mobile app will feature SIDEARM’s latest NextGen technology.

U-M Athletics consulted across a wide demographic of fans and peers in collaboration with SIDEARM Sports, the nation’s leading collegiate athletics website provider, to provide the most comprehensive and functional platform for news, information, creative content, and ticket information.

“Our official online home of Michigan Athletics is a vital component to our overall communication strategies, and we’re pleased to once again partner with SIDEARM Sports in ensuring that our digital platforms are dynamic and efficient,” said Kurt Svoboda, Associate Athletic Director. “I am extremely thankful for the continued leadership and guidance from Katie Hewitt, our Director of Digital Content, as well as our partners at LEARFIELD and Michigan Sports Properties led by Vice President and General Manager Jennifer Cadicamo.”

SIDEARM NextGen is the latest version of SIDEARM Sports’ revolutionary technology, providing a new approach to fans’ digital journeys. NextGen brings modern and cutting-edge updates to the software that has powered college athletics for over 20 years.

The upgraded MGoBlue.com will provide faster site loads, greater stability, enhanced security, a one-of-a-kind digital design system, single sign-on, and much more across official athletic websites, mobile apps, and over-the-top media services. The launch of SIDEARM NextGen is the first step in making the leading digital fan engagement platform of college athletics much more powerful.
