Twitter Gets Repeat Win in Saudi Dissident's Suit Over Hack – Bloomberg Law

Twitter Inc. won dismissal, for the second time, of a lawsuit filed by a dissident over the alleged hacking of his account by employees so the Saudi government could target him and his contacts.

Plaintiff Ali Al-Ahmed waited too long to bring his claims related to unauthorized access of his account and espionage by the Saudi government, and was barred by section 230 of the Communications Decency Act from challenging Twitter’s 2018 decision to suspend his account, Judge Edward M. Chen of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Monday.
