Around 600 marching bands and thousands are taking part in the commemorating event of the 333rd anniversary of the Battle of Boyne.
An estimated half of a million people are expected to participate in the Twelfth of July parade. This year (2023) marks the 333rd anniversary of the Battle of Boyne.
Edward Stevenson, Grand Master of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland said-“I know that a lot of work is being done by the host districts to prepare for the big day and I trust everyone will have a great time no matter which of our 19 demonstrations they attend”.
