Former President Donald Trump has come out in full support of TikTok as congressional leaders push to force the platform over the sale.
Donald Trump criticized a congressional bill that aims to sell TikTok to an American company or face a ban.
The leading Republican nominee said such a move would only benefit Facebook, an “enemy of people”.
Enemy of People
The former President argued that a ban on TikTok would only make Facebook bigger, and he considers it an “enemy of people.”
Trump himself attempted to ban the platform in 2020 when he was US President but now suggests such a move would give Facebook an unfair advantage.

Mr. Trump agreed with the assumption that TikTok was hurting the United States’ national interests but said the same applies to Facebook.
“I think Facebook has been very bad for our country, especially when it comes to elections,” Mr. Trump said in his NBC interview.
