THE Six Nations kicked off last night and, if you have a food-loving family, it might feel like you are feeding your own hungry team.
But there are ways to keep those bellies feeling full.
Your wallet will be winning with these budget meals and your rugby fans will think they’re scrum-my!
BOAST A ROAST: A roast dinner should fill a family up.
The best value roasting joint tends to be a whole chicken, from around £2.20 a kilo. You can go for cheaper cuts.
A pork shoulder joint, from around £3.70 a kilo, can work out around half the price of a leaner leg.

Make the meal extra-filling by piling vegetables high on the side.
A kilo of wonky carrots is 50p at Morrisons compared to 65p for a standard bag.
Cook your own Yorkshire puddings rather than buying frozen ones.
All you need is flour, eggs, milk and oil, costing you under £1 for a big batch.
MAKE MINCED MEAT OF MEALS: Mince is another key to cheaper meals like bolognese, meatballs and chilli.
Cut costs by choosing a pack with more fat content.
In Sainsbury’s, beef mince with 20 per cent fat is usually under £5 a kilo, while premium mince with five per cent fat could be double that.
Just skim the oil off the top when cooking.
Bigger packs tend to be cheaper, and bulk with lentils for extra goodness.
VEGGIE GOOD DINNERS: Going meat-free every once in a while can be good for our health — and pockets.
Stock up on pulses, potatoes and chunky vegetables like cauliflower and carrots for filling meals.
Rugger fans will be happy to give sweet potato and cauliflower curry, vegetable chilli packed with mixed beans and served with rice, and veggie lasagne a try.
You can cut costs — and waste — by using frozen vegetables.
You can make a meal for pennies with dried pulses.
If you don’t have time to soak them, cook for longer instead.
