The good news for fans of the Irish cream liqueur is that it is currently on sale at Sainsbury’s for just £10, with a bottle normally costing £13.

The offer is on until January 1, 2024.

That’s currently the cheapest price available, according to Trolley.co.uk, with Ocado selling it for £12 and if you buy it in Waitrose it will cost the usual retail price.

One bargain hunter on Hotukdeals.com wrote: “I thought this was worth posting as I was looking around to buy it as a gift and was very pleased when I found Sainsbury’s had it for £10.”

The bad news is that it is just a 50cl so there might not be enough to go around if you’re having friends over, although you can always buy two.

As the advertising blub states: “Baileys Chocolat Luxe delvers a combination of luxurious ingredients: Madagascar vanilla, real Belgian chocolate and original Baileys Irish Cream.

“This is exclusive indulgence of bitter cocoa with rich, caramel tones of the original Baileys. Heavenly!”

It suggests it is drunk neat over ice or you could even pour it over a scoop of ice cream.

If you’re feeling generous you could give it as a gift – or just keep it for yourself.

The comments revealed that drinkers were eager to get their hands on a bottle.

One person said: “This stuff is AMAZING!!!”

When someone else wrote: “What’s the difference in this and the standard? Great deal.”

People were quick to point out that the standard Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur isn’t made with real Belgian chocolate.

Another person seemed keen to give it a go, writing: “Haven’t tried this one but the salted caramel is really tasty!”

Although not everyone was so taken with it, adding: “This stuff is so sickly I like regular Bailey’s but this is too much.”

It comes after Asda shoppers are rushing to buy a cheap kitchen gadget to cut energy bills.

And one savvy shopper revealed how she paid just two quid for a share tub of Quality Street chocolates.

Meanwhile, Milkybar fans are going wild as “lush” collab returns to B&M stores.
