Think holi-stically, multichromatically

Holi’s celebration of a multichromatic world – instinctively considered as an ‘Indian’ way of viewing the world whether through its clothes, or its movies, or its festivals – becomes, paradoxically, a muted force in arenas where seeing things in ‘black and white’ are not only practised but held as being ‘correct’. Apart from holding out on the views of others, such a ‘my way or the highway’ doctrine deeply restricts one’s own prosperity. Mathematics teaches us – nay, encourages us – to approach a problem from multiple methods: arithmetic, algebraic, using calculus, etc. Business solutions can benefit, too, from imbibing multiple views – inside and outside the box.
