The Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone offers some incremental improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy Fold 4. The Fold 5 is a lighter device and features a new hinge design that allows it to open flat and removes the small gap where dirt and debris could get into on previous Fold devices. While it’s still chunky when folded up, it is still slightly thinner than the Fold 4. What’s more, its display brightness has been increased to 1,750 nits peak. We haven’t tested the latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 yet but we’re confident it’ll impress us since the Fold 4 model is our favorite Android smartphone. Our tester praised it for its versatility via Flex Mode, which lets you split the folding screen into two segments that manage two apps at the same time. That means you can attend a Zoom meeting on one screen and take notes on the other. You can also customize your app layout for whatever home screen you want and connect multiple Bluetooth devices to it at the same time.
