The Pixel 7 at half price is the best Android phone deal of the week

Google makes some of the best Android smartphones you can buy, but they aren’t always on sale for as cheap a price as this. Black Friday sales are in full swing, and we’ve found an absolutely amazing price for the Google Pixel 7, Google’s smaller flagship smartphone that launched in 2022.

Available now from Currys in the UK, the Pixel 7 is an all-time low £299.50 – that’s exactly half price on its usual RRP of £599. That gets you 128GB storage, but it’s only available at this special price in the ‘Snow’ white colour.

Despite being superseded by this year’s Pixel 8, we still highly recommend the Pixel 7, particularly at this price. It will get software support until 2027, has an absolutely incredible 50Mp camera with tons of smart Google editing features, solid premium design, great battery life, and a pin-sharp 6.3-inch OLED display.

It also has wireless charging capability and runs the latest version of Android, Android 14, so you’ll be completely up to date.

It packs in flagship-level performance thanks to the Google Tensor G2 chipset, which is very good at AI – you can erase people from the background of photos, and the phone will even unblur people’s faces automatically to make sure you get perfect snaps. There are also clever real-time translation features for those tricky holiday language barriers, and a camera that is truly one of the very best on a phone.

You can check out our longer round up of some of the best Black Friday deals from Currys here, with savings to be had on phones, headphones, tablets, laptops, TVs, games, and lots more tech besides.

Currys is also selling the 256GB storage version of the Pixel 7 for £349.50 – again, exactly half price on its usual RRP of £699. Doubling the storage when you buy is a smart idea in case you want to load up on tons of photos, games, and apps, and plan on holding onto the Pixel 7 for a few years.
