RENAULT Clio owners are most likely to have sex in their motors, a study found.
Almost a quarter of drivers overall admitted to romping in their car in the past year.
But Clio drivers led the pack with 34 per cent steaming up their windows, followed by BMW 3 Series (31 per cent) and Audi A4 (30 per cent).
Unsurprisingly, owners of the Smart Fortwo were least likely to have sex in their car — at one per cent — followed by Honda Civic (three per cent).
Renault Clio driver Dave Sanders, 28, of Ely, Cambs, admitted getting passionate with his girlfriend in his motor, adding: “There’s not much room in a Clio and the windows get a bit steamy, but it’s cosy and fun.”
A spokesman for insurance firm Tempcover, which did the poll, said: “Cars aren’t sexy because they go fast.
“Their real appeal is providing a mobile space where secret intimacies can be freely exchanged.”
