THE 2023 OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE BEACH VOLLEYBALL … – UTM Athletics


BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The 2023 Ohio Valley Conference Beach Volleyball Championship field is set. The University of Tennessee at Martin earned the top seed and will host the 10-match event that goes from Thursday, April 27 through Saturday, April 29 at the Skyhawk Beach Volleyball Complex on campus.
           
Chattanooga claimed the No. 2 seed and is followed by No. 3 Morehead State, No. 4 Tennessee Tech, No. 5 Lindenwood and No. 6 Eastern Illinois.
           
UT Martin is hosting the OVC tournament for the second time in the past three years. Last season, the Skyhawks won the event and became the first-ever OVC program to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
           
The 2023 UT Martin squad is 24-8 overall and is the first OVC team to complete an undefeated season (10-0) in league play. The Skyhawks have received votes in the last two American Volleyball Coaches Association Beach Coaches Top 20 Polls and clinched their second consecutive OVC regular season championship over the weekend.
           
The 2023 OVC Championship schedule is listed below as the entire tournament will be streamed live on ESPN+. Admission for the event is $5 per day while students with a valid school ID can get in free.
