Tennis star Roger Federer sings at Coldplay's ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’

When he smashes the ball or breaks the service, you are not shocked, though you clap. But when eight-time Wimbledon champion shares the dias with Chris Martin and performs at Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’, you are shocked, awed, and forced to clap crazily. Yes, it was Roger Federer in Zurich. He played ‘Don’t Panic’ standing in front of a frenzied mob and shared his emotions on Twitter, calling it an “adventure of a lifetime.”

Reacting to the performance, a fan was so enamored that he said a legend meets another legend.

Last month, a video went viral in which Princess of Wales Kate Middleton meets Roger Federer and he invites her to play tennis. The Princess managed to score a point somehow and Federer praised her calling it ‘amazing’.

Wimbledon shared this video on its official Instagram and praised them. Roger Federer will be feted at the center court of Wimbledon Tuesday in a program specially designed for the occasion. A similar offer was made to Serena Williams, who turned down the offer because she is pregnant.

Federer retired last year after winning Wimbledon’s men’s singles eight times, a record, that Novak Djokovic may try to break this year. Martina Navratilova has the highest number of nine singles to her credit. Serena won the Wimbledon singles title eight times before retiring last year.
