Technical security expert says more could be done to safeguard … – WCLO

A Janesville technical surveillance countermeasures business is offering up its services to the Janesville School District in the wake of a hidden camera being found in a girls locker room.

TI2 Agency Owner Nick Thomas says he specializes in looking for hidden recording devices in places like homes, hotel rooms, and anywhere else a person may feel their privacy is being invaded.

Thomas says he utilizes technology that’s more accurate than the human eye, or a dog’s nose.

Thomas says there are devices that can be hidden inside electrical outlets or inside smoke detectors, and cameras that are small enough that they can be made to look like a pen.
