Swedish Security Tech Company Moves Its North American HQ to Plano

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is a leading global manufacturer of mechanical and digital locks, security doors, automated entrances, and access control systems for everything from hotels to cruise ships. It’s relocating its North American HQ from Richardson to Plano’s Research/Technology Crossroads, an 800-acre industrial park.

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, a Sweden-based security technology company, is relocating its North American headquarters to Plano, and plans to hire 350 new employees for its new campus over the next decade.

ASSA ABLOY currently has offices across the U.S. The North American HQ of its Global Solutions division is currently located in Richardson at 631 International Parkway. 

With operations in over 70 countries, ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is a leading manufacturer of mechanical and digital locks, security doors, automated entrances, and access control systems for everything from hotels to cruise ships.

According to multiple reports, the company is relocating its North American HQ to Plano’s Research/Technology Crossroads, an 800-acre industrial park, at 2925 E. Plano Parkway. The company is leasing 107,000 square feet of office space at the location.

Nicolas Aznar, President of the Americas for the Swedish access powerhouse, said his company is “looking forward to leveraging all of the new opportunities that this transition will bring.”

“Plano serves as an important hub for technological innovation and will be central to our goal of continuing to expand our portfolio of solutions and services for customers across the Americas,” Aznar added in a statement.
