Sweary card game becomes one of fastest-selling Christmas gifts – with one copy sold every minute

A SWEARY card game similar to Snap has become one of the fastest-selling Christmas gifts.

One copy of WobbleGob has sold every minute since it went on sale at the start of December.

Shoppers have been buying it as a naughty Secret Santa workplace gift or as a fun stocking filler for friends and relatives.

The foul-mouthed fun includes almost 60 of the crudest phrases, ranging from mild to obscene.

Players compete to uncover and shout out matching swear words.

Creator Tony Ward, from Asbo Games, said: “Why dream of a white Christmas when you can turn the air blue?

“Christmas isn’t the most wonderful time of the year, it’s the most stressful, so with swearing scientifically proven to relieve stress, playing WobbleGob lets you ­release festive tension.”

The game is on sale at £11.50 and all profits go towards funding Tony’s cancer treatment.

He added: “I hope by making others laugh then I can laugh in the face of my cancer.”
