Survivor 47 Episode 3 will be released on October 2. The new episodes are aired every Wednesday at 8:00 PM EST on CBS. Each episode runs for 90 minutes. Viewers can also stream the show on Paramount+.

In the Lavo tribe, Rome finds a box containing clues to a Hidden Immunity Idol. He initially keeps this discovery a secret but eventually tells Teeny. Teeny, however, shares the information with Kishan Patel. Kishan and Teeny locate the box, but Rome catches them in the act. Rome, realizing his advantage could be compromised, chooses to play it safe. He takes the Idol, which is valid for one Tribal Council.
On the Tuku tribe, Andy Rueda finds the Beware Advantage but decides not to claim it immediately. Instead, he hides it, hoping to use it later. However, Sam Phalen and Anika Dhar find the Advantage during their own idol search. Sam shares the information with Sierra Wright and eventually Rachel LaMont. Andy later discovers his risky plan has failed, as the Advantage is gone. Sam decides to play it safe and uses the Idol for one Tribal Council.

The tribes participate in a physically demanding Immunity Challenge. They must race in the water, retrieve a bag of rice, and navigate a maze. The first two tribes to finish win Immunity and a fishing kit. The Gata tribe finishes first, followed by Lavo. This leaves Lavo heading to Tribal Council. During the challenge, Rachel LaMont is seen taking rice from the bag and stuffing it into his pockets. This is the first time such an act has been seen on Survivor.
