Sunday's children




The narrator recalls a summer house. Grandmother and Uncle Carl disliked it. Uncle Carl thought it was just red wooden boxes. These boxes had white corners. They rested on stones. The space underneath was full of junk. There were old chairs and pans. Newspapers and tyres were also there. Crawling under the house was not allowed.
