‘Suits’ Season 1- 9 to premiere on Netflix US soon; Here’s all you need to know about Meghan Markle’s show


Fans of the TV series Suits, rejoice! The much loved legal drama will be airing all its seasons on Netflix in the United States of America, starting June 2023. Netflix already airs Suits in other regions, including India. Here’s what we know about the Suits licensing for the Netflix US market.

The reason for streaming all seasons of Suits on Netflix US may be the writers’ strike in the US, which has halted the shooting of many new and recurring TV shows, web series and movies.

As a result, Netflix is focussing on acquisitions and licensing. Other platforms are also going easy on licensing. Hence, Suits is being streamed on Netflix as well as its rival Amazon Prime Video in the US, as well as on Peacock Premium.

Suits is a legal drama that first aired on television in the US in 2011. The show became so successful that it ran through 2019 on USA Network. The popular series shows a law firm, its cases and its politics.

Why did Suits end?

When Suits ended after season 9, producer Aaron Korsh revealed that the cast’s contracts had expired. Also, around the same time, Meghan Markle was getting married to Prince Harry and would move to England.
