Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 3.59 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(up 2.55 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.48 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 2.27 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 2.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.0 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.25 per cent at 873.65 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 127.35 points at 23084.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 388.25 points at 76289.66.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, BHEL, JSW Energy and NMDC Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of JK Cement, Madhya Bharat Agro and Navkar Builders hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while ideaForge Technology, Power Mech Proj, Noida Toll Bridge Co, Stallion India Fluor and Aban Offshore hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
