Shares of Sobha Ltd.(up 3.72 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 2.64 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.8 per cent), Swan Energy Ltd.(up 0.69 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 0.62 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.32 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.85 per cent up at 744.95.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 27.7 points at 20997.1, while the BSE Sensex stood up 102.93 points at 69928.53.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 ended in the green, while 18 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Indian Railway Fin, YES Bank, Reliance Power and Indian Renewable were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of BAG Films, Arvee Laboratories, Cheviot Company, Nila Spaces L and Indian Renewable hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Penta Gold, Bohra Industries, Raj Rayon, Blue Jet Healthcare and Sheetal Cool hit their fresh 52-week lows.
