The biggest gainers of the session on the were Sacyr SA (BME:), which rose 1.96% or 0.06 points to trade at 3.12 at the close. Banco de Sabadell SA (BME:) added 1.64% or 0.03 points to end at 1.86 and Ferrovial (BME:) was up 1.20% or 0.48 points to 40.54 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fluidra (BME:), which lost 0.92% or 0.22 points to trade at 23.72 in late trade. SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:) declined 0.37% or 0.03 points to end at 8.01 and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BME:) shed 0.32% or 0.03 points to 9.27.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Madrid Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for February delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $2,633.50 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $70.10 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 1.24% or 0.90 to trade at $73.22 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
