Some Sky users get 'exciting' new TV channel next month – check if you are on the list


Some Sky TV users are getting an extra channel to watch from next month with the satellite firm launching a dedicated service to tennis. As the name suggests, Sky Sports Tennis will show over 4,000 matches from more than 80 tournaments across the globe including action from TP & WTA Tours, as well as full coverage of the US Open.

Things will kick off with the Hologic WTA Tour tournament in Doha followed by the ATP Tour from Rotterdam. The Action then switch back to Doha with the likes of Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev on court from February 19.

If watching tennis is a top priority then you’ll find Sky Sports Tennis on your set-top box from February 11 on channel 408. It then switches exclusively to channel 407 where it will remain from February 13.

Sky says to help track it down more quickly. viewers can also find the channel by using the Voice Control function on the Sky Glass, Stream, or Q remote, using the search terms “New balls please;’ “It was on the line;” “Sky Tennis;” “Sky Sports Tennis” or “Tennis channel”.

So, what plan do you need to watch this new channel?

To tune in you’ll need to have a Sky Sports plan that includes Complete, Action and Arena packages. The Sky Sports Tennis channel will also be available on Sky’s NOW platform along with Virgin Media and EE TV.
