Smbhav ’23: D2C brands can now use Amazon’s logistics for deliveries

New Delhi: D2C brands and small sellers can now use Amazon’s logistics and supply chain services for their deliveries. These orders need not be from Amazon alone, but can be those placed on their own websites also.

Amit Agarwal, SVP India and Emerging Markets, Amazon, announced the multi-channel fulfillment (MCF) service on Thursday, at the fourth edition of Amazon Smbhav in Delhi.

“This will allow small businesses to take advantage of our fulfillment supply chain infrastructure. They don’t have to worry about using Amazon to place orders, it would be the same irrespective of whether they’re selling on Amazon or off Amazon. So no matter where you are, you can run your operations using Amazon’s logistics and supply chain,” Agarwal.

With MCF, sellers can let Amazon pick, pack and ship their products to customers from Amazon fulfillment centers. This simplifies order management, tracking, tax invoicing and shipping, regardless of where the order comes from.
