If all the rumours are true we could see a shiny new range of Galaxy devices revealed before the end of the month and they could be some of the smartest phones Samsung has ever released. Rumours continue to appear about the upcoming Galaxy S24 with the most recent leak confirming that these phones will be powered by clever Artificial Intelligence.
Marketing materials spotted in Brazil and posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @sondesix have exposed that this update will be called Samsung AI with the Korean technology giant clearly hoping that it will help improve the experience for owners and make some tasks more seamless.
Although full details about the AI upgrade won’t be announced until Samsung’s Unpacked event, it’s thought the new S24 will be able to perform tasks such as live language translation during voice calls, interactive new weather effects and also AI-powered wallpapers that could be unique for each user. The camera could also be made smarter with users able to instantly edit photos, get rid of objects and extend backgrounds using Artificial Intelligence.
Of course, AI won’t be the only major change coming to these devices with them expected to be much faster, more efficient and feature an improved design.
The more premium S24 Ultra might even ditch the curved screen currently found with Samsung replacing it with a flat panel instead.
Other changes look set to include a swathe of refreshed colours, longer battery life and improvements to camera especially when shooting images in low-light situations.
There’s still no official word on when the S24 phones will be unveiled but if Samsung is going to release them this month then we can expect to hear news about an Unpacked event very soon.
A number of leaks have suggested that January 17 will be the day for a launch but there’s no confirmation of this just yet.
