Sky finally offers new iPhone at a price that will surprise you

The iPhone 16e goes on full sale this Friday, February 28, but UK network provider Sky Mobile is offering it for a special pre-order price of just £27 per month on a two-year, 24-month contract deal with no upfront payment. This gets you the 128GB iPhone 16e in white or black colourway for £20 a month to pay back the cost of the handset, plus £7 per month for a 3GB data plan. This £7 is an offer price, as the plan usually costs £10.

This cheap price is one of the best we’ve seen, as Sky is one of the last mobile companies to release its iPhone 16e pricing but appears to have undercut many of its rivals.

£27 per month over two years amounts to a grand total of £648, meaning you’ll pay £49 over two years for 3GB of monthly 5G data plus unlimited calls and texts. Better still, this is Sky Mobile’s flexible tariff that lets you swap your handset after 24 months at no extra cost, so once the contract is over you can get a brand new phone.

Be aware that Sky is likely to raise its monthly price for this deal in April 2026, as most mobile contracts will do, so make sure you check how much this will go up by and that you can afford it. This will of course affect the overall two-year cost of the contract.

If 3GB is not quite enough data for you, Sky has slashed the prices of other data plans, such as 40GB for £12 per month down from £20, or unlimited data for £22 down from £40, which is a great deal.

Sky Mobile uses O2’s national mobile network, so if you have a good O2 signal in your area then this is a good deal to go for. Sky says it’ll roll over any unused mobile data for you to use at a later date, too, and any mobile data you use to stream Sky apps such as Sky Go is free and doesn’t come out of your data allowance.

The iPhone 16e replaces the iPhone SE in Apple’s smartphone line up. It has a 6.1-inch OLED screen, single 48MP camera, an Action button on the side that you can assign different functions to, plus the A18 chip you’ll find in the pricier iPhone 16. This means the 16e is just as powerful and will last for years to come, plus is able to run Apple Intelligence, Apple’s AI tools.

The 16e also has better battery life than the regular 16, according to Apple.

At the time of writing, the product page for the iPhone 16e said the deal was “In demand”, and noted several people had taken advantage of this great pre-order pricing in the last few days. We’re not sure if Sky plans to offer these lower prices once the iPhone 16e is on full sale this Friday, so these pre-order deals may not last much longer.
