Single mum shares side hustle for ‘broke and lazy’ people which could earn you £130,000

A mum is sharing the “broke and lazy” side hustle which makes her a lot of money and could earn you the equivalent of £130,000. Georgia from Victoria, Australia documents her second job on her TikTok channel, @growing_with_georgia.

In a video titled “Side hustles I wish I knew sooner”, the content creator broke down the way she supplements her income. According to Georgia, those wanting to follow in her footsteps and earn a passive income need to visit Amazon.com.

Specifically, she urged future side hustlers to take advantage of the online marketplace’s ‘Kindle Direct Publishing’ tool. The TikTok content creator uses this service to sell journals she designs on Canva and is able to earn 70 percent of the proceeds.

When people sign up for the Amazon tool and use Canva to create journal designs, the online retailer will print and ship designs for free.

According to Georgia, a paperback journal sold for £6.29 on the site and nearly 31,000 people had purchased it.

The side hustler explained: “When you multiply this together you will see that it’s roughly $250,000 AUD (£130,000 GBP) in sales that this person has made from uploading this journal.”

However, Georgia emphasized the importance of people personalizing their own designs on Canva.

This is to avoid any potential copyright issues down the line so anyone taking part in this side hustle has to make any designs “their own”.

To help those interested in taking on this side hustle, George broke down people can navigate the website.

She added: “As you’ll see, they will print your books for free and you can earn up to 70 percent royalty on your sales.

“The really cool thing about this product is that Amazon is going to print and ship your product for free. All you have to do now is sit back and collect the difference.”

In the comment section of the TikTok clip, one viewer said: “I tried this and chose a very controversial cover.

“I sold 209 in first week, so let’s see how it goes from now. It’s so good because I hold no stock.”
