SHOPPERS have been rushing to buy a “brilliant” air fryer that’s scanning at the tills for £40 less than its original price.
The popular kitchen gadget is available at Tesco and usually costs £139.
But savvy customers have found that the fryer scans at just £97.30 at tills.
A Facebook user posted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group with a photo of the air fryer on the shelf.
They said: “Spotted this at Tesco Wrexham. Only two there and scanned at £97.30.
“Checked online and going rate is £139.99 so made up. Wanted one for a while!”
The post was met with dozens of keen shoppers looking to get their hands on the bargain.
Several called it a “nice find” and others calling it “brilliant”.
Another wrote: “Wouldn’t be without our dual air fryer, haven’t used the oven in so long!”
The Tower air fryer comes with two baskets and with a 4.5L capacity for each, so you can cook two different things at once.
You can choose from 10 one-touch presets including fries and chicken.
You’ll need to head to your nearest Tesco if you want to bag yourself the deal – the supermarket isn’t offering the fryer online.
But it looks like the item is an end of clearance deal and stock may be limited.
That means that stock and prices may vary from store to store.
It’s best to phone ahead to your closest shop to check availability to avoid disappointment.
To find your nearest branch, you’ll need to visit the Tesco website.
Dual-basket air fryers have really gained popularity over the past few months.
This is the cheapest price we could find for this model, but as always do have a shop around – there’s never a bad time to bag a bargain.
We found that Argos and Amazon are selling the same make and model for £139.
If you’re looking for a cheap dual basket air fryer though there are some alternatives.
Robert Dyas is selling a two-basket fryer for £99.99, on sale from £140.
Alternatively, Costco is selling a dual basket air fryer for £79.99.
As always before you commit to a purchase, you should have a shop around to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.
Meanwhile, shoppers have been rushing to buy a £120 air fryer that’s scanning at just £10 at the till – but there’s a catch.
