Season ticket packages on sale for 2023-2024 Campus Performing … – Missouri S&T News and Research


Season ticket packages are available now for the 2023-2024 Campus Performing Arts Series at Missouri University of Science and Technology. For the first time, ticket packages can be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu.

All performances will take place in Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall, located on the Missouri S&T campus at the corner of 10th and Main Streets in Rolla. All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m.

This year’s season includes:

  • The Hit Men: Classic Rock Supergroup: Saturday, Oct. 21. Five musicians who have shared the stage with legendary artists perform classic rock hits and share their experiences as eyewitnesses to rock history.
  • Christmas Spectacular on Ice: Tuesday, Dec. 5. A holiday show combining classic Christmas stories and songs with high-flying skating tricks.
  • The Elephant in the Room: Saturday, Feb. 10. A one-woman show following Priyanka Shetty’s real-life journey as she quits her information technology job in India to pursue an acting career in the U.S.
  • Hairspray: Wednesday, Feb. 21. The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical follows Tracy Turnblad, a 16-year-old in 1960s Baltimore, as she sets out to dance her way onto TV’s most popular show.
  • TAKE3: Friday, March 8. A genre-defying trio of musicians blend classical instruments with modern flair, playing a wide variety of classical and current music.
  • Broadway’s Next Hit Musical: Saturday, May 4. In an evening of improvised theater, the performers use audience suggestions to perform songs nominated for the “Phony Awards,” before expanding the audience’s favorite into an improvised musical.

Full season packages including all six shows are available for $200 for adults, $158 for youth (under age 18) and $90 for Missouri S&T students. Also available are Hairspray four-packs (Hairspray plus three other shows) for $150 for adults and $128 for youth, and three show packages (any three shows excluding Hairspray) for $100 for adults and $75 for youth.

All season packages will include a complimentary ticket to a concert by the Bach Society of Saint Louis at Leach Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 14. Now in its 82nd season, the chorus performs works by Bach as well as other classical and contemporary composers.

Ticket packages can be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu, or by calling the box office at 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online or by phone. Packages can also be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office, located in Castleman Hall. Summer box office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Tickets for individual shows will be available starting Monday, Aug. 28. Individual ticket prices will vary by show. For more information, visit leachtheatre.mst.edu.
