Sean Buckley was quoted in the Health IT Security article, “How Did This Happen? Understanding the Issue of Third-Party Tracking Tech in Healthcare.” In the article, Buckley emphasized that with the use of pixels and tracking beacons on publicly facing websites, marketing and legal teams really need to open up communication with each other. He goes on further to suggest healthcare organizations consider conducting an audit of their website to determine every data flow coming from the site.
