Samsung is about to give you a massive reason to ditch Windows 10 for good

Despite its impending end of life, millions of Microsoft users are still refusing to switch from Windows 10 to Windows 11. In fact, the ageing operating system remains the most popular on the planet with recent stats suggesting it has a massive 68 percent share of the market. All support for Windows 10 will end in 2025 and if that’s starting to make you think about switching things up, Samsung hopes its latest laptops will do enough to convince you.

The Korean technology firm has just announced the release of a new Galaxy Book4 series which it says is its most powerful to date.

That’s all thanks to these machines getting the latest and greatest Intel Core Ultra 9 processor tucked inside. This new PC brain combines a faster central processing unit (CPU), a higher-performance graphics processing unit (GPU) plus a newly added neural processing unit (NPU) into a single package. All that tech basically means things will done faster whilst using up less battery.

Those opting for the more premium Book4 Ultra will also find NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology that creates higher-quality images for over 500 ray-traced popular games and applications.

Along with that new chip, Samsung is also boasting that its hardware will help improve the overall user experience thanks to upgrades such as a new optimal cooling system, better efficiency and a faster-charging battery that can quickly top up an additional 55 percent battery life in just 30 minutes.

Other features include a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display with Vision Booster technology for improved brightness when outside. There are also AKG Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, A large touchpad and a wide range of ports.

The Galaxy Book4 Ultra, Book4 Pro and Book4 Pro 360 will all be available soon in the UK although there’s currently no word on starting price.

They ship with Windows 11 and come in colours including Moonstone Grey and Platinum Silver.

“Samsung is committed to empowering people to experience new possibilities that enhance their everyday lives. This new paradigm can be achieved through our expansive Galaxy ecosystem and open collaboration with other industry leaders,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.

“The Galaxy Book4 series plays a key role in bringing best-in-class connectivity to our ecosystem that will broaden how people interact with their PC, phone, tablet and other devices for truly intelligent and connected experiences.”
