It seems like Samsung is really dragging its feet with making the Galaxy S23 FE official. This phone has been leaking like crazy for months now, and the leaks have intensified in the past few weeks. Maybe this means we’re finally close to the announcement?
Anyway, today the S23 FE is in the spotlight again, since it’s been found in the Google Play Console. As usual, such a listing offers an image of the device along with some specs. Let’s take a look.
The design has thus been confirmed for the umpteenth time, not that it would be surprising coming from Samsung even if this was the first time we saw it. It’s very much in line with the company’s current design language.
The S23 FE is also confirmed by the Google Play Console listing to come in two versions – one powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 chipset, the other employing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The Google Play Console listing has the S23 FE coming with 8GB of RAM, but of course there can be additional options once it launches. It runs Android 13, and its screen has FHD+ resolution.
According to previous leaks and rumors, the screen size will be 6.4″, it will of course be an AMOLED, with 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone will get 256GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 12 MP telephoto camera, a 10 MP selfie shooter, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
