Rita's, Dairy Queen offer free ice cream: Know details, more offers


As spring arrives, Dairy Queen and Rita’s are here to pamper us with free treats. Monday marks 2023’s first day of spring and is celebrated as Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen, allowing customers to pick up a free small cone at Dairy Queen, as per a released statement.

Free small cones are available at participating non-mall locations on Monday until stocks last, the food chain noted. Moreover, one person can get up to one cone.

American Dairy Queen Corp’s Executive VP for marketing stated that the company intends to mark Free Cone Day with the beginning of its favorite [spring] season.

Meanwhile, Monday is also a big day at Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard – the 31st day of the Spring Celebration. According to the company’s press release, all guests who visit Rita’s location on Monday will receive a complimentary Italian ice cream in their favorite flavor.

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard’s Chief Executive Officer added that the ice cream chain is “excited to continue” this giveaway tradition as they take pride in lifting the spirits of many fans in the country.

Rita’s plans to offer nearly 1 million servings of Italian ice cream at more than 550 stores on Monday. Customers can find nearby locations on Rita’s website.

Rita’s app customers can also enter the promo code ‘SPRING23’ until Monday for a chance to win Free Ice Cream for a Year.
