Rihanna managed to break Twitter with her Super Bowl 2023 halftime performance and subsequent pregnancy announcement.

On Sunday, minutes after the end of her set there was a huge spike in reported outages on Twitter.

Website internet outage tracker, Downdetector clocked 9,922 outages reported as fans of the Barbadian singer tweeted their excitement.

According to user reports, the Twitter app was mostly affected but there were also problems with the website.

The issue seems to have been resolved in a few hours with the number of reported outages dropping.

The Work singer dazzled audiences at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday night during the NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Speculation was rife that Rihanna, 34, was pregnant from the opening seconds of her performance, as she left her red jumpsuit open to reveal a noticeable baby bump.

However, because that wasn’t clear enough, a rep has since confirmed to various media outlets that the singer is indeed expecting her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

Ironically, Twitter-owner, Elon Musk was seen at the State Farm Stadium sitting alongside media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
