Cheapest iPhone 15 Pro preorder prices revealed ahead of UK release date
Want to upgrade to one of the all-new iPhone 15 models at the cheapest price possible? We’ve got you covered.
All four new handsets unveiled by Apple during its September keynote – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – are now available to buy online and in-store in the UK. And it seems like a lot of people want to upgrade to the new models.
During a brief preorder period, delivery date estimates for these all-new iPhones have slipped into October and November for some models of iPhone 15 Pro as Apple struggles with huge demand. Buying select iPhone 15 Pro models SIM-free from Amazon, John Lewis & Partners, and Currys is tough as the handsets keep going out of stock with no notice.
So, how can you get your hands on the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max?
Well, thankfully, there are a few options still available for those who want to pocket a model from the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro ranges – and if you’re fast, you might be able to take delivery (or pick up in-store) on launch day. We’ve scoured the best iPhone 15 deals and best iPhone 15 Pro deals to find the cheapest options out there.
Not sure if it’s the right time to upgrade? Our iPhone 15 Pro review has our early verdict on the new features.
iPhone 15 Pro has a 6.1-inch screen, while iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch and 5x lossless zoom
Cheapest iPhone 15 Pro deal
If you’re looking for the lowest pay monthly deal on the iPhone 15 Pro, look no further than Sky Mobile.
For £43 per month, you’ll get the iPhone 15 Pro with 128GB of built-in storage (£999 when bought from the Apple Store) and 20GB of 5G mobile data each month. You’ll also benefit from unlimited calls and unlimited text messages, although if you tend to rely on iMessage and WhatsApp over texts, remember that those count towards your mobile data.
Sky Mobile will never count 5G or 4G data used in Sky-branded apps towards your monthly allowance. That means you’ll be able to stream boxsets like The Last Of Us, Euphoria, House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, as well as coverage from Sky Sports, films from Sky Cinema, and live television channels via Sky Go at no extra cost.
Best of all, there’s no upfront fee with Sky Mobile so you’ll start paying your monthly bills at the start of the contract – and that’s it. No expensive initial outlay like you’ll find with some rival deals. Sky Mobile’s contract is 36 months for the iPhone 15 Pro, with the option to switch to a new handset within two years, and 24 months for the SIM plan.
The cheap price is thanks to a promotion from Sky Mobile that has doubled its mobile data allowances without altering the price – so you’ll get 20GB of speedy 5G data for the same price as 10GB. That’s what has helped Sky Mobile steal the crown as the cheapest iPhone 15 Pro preorder deal.
It’s worth noting that Three comes a very close second, offering 30GB of 5G data for just £45 per month. And for £46 per month, you’ll benefit from unlimited 5G data. Although, you’ll need to spend at least £50 upfront (as well as the first month’s bills) to get started with an iPhone 15 Pro contract from Three, so that’s something to keep in mind too.
Cheapest iPhone 15 Pro Max deal
Three has the lowest prices for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
For just £50.75 per month, you’ll take delivery of the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 256GB of built-in storage (the lowest storage configuration available with this model and £1,199 when bought from the Apple Store) with 30GB of 5G mobile data. As above, this pay monthly plan comes with unlimited calls and unlimited text messages too.
As a Three customer, you’ll get access to its Three+ rewards scheme. This is designed to rival the likes of O2 Priority and offers discounts on cinema tickets, early access to some of the biggest music and comedy gigs in the UK, as well as free coffees, meal deals and other perks from high street chains. It’s a nice little bonus.
The only small print to note about this deal is the slightly pricey £60 upfront charge. Coupled with the first month of your contract, that’s an initial outlay of £110.75, which isn’t cheap. But the overall savings at the end of your contract, compared to the competition, means it’s more than worth it.
iPhone 15 and 15 Plus arrive in a selection of five new colours
Cheapest iPhone 15 deal
Like the iPhone 15 Pro, Sky Mobile is the cheapest choice for the regular iPhone 15.
For just £38 per month, you’ll get the iPhone 15 with 128GB of built-in storage (£799 when bought from the Apple Store) and 20GB of 5G mobile data each month. Sky Mobile also includes unlimited calls and unlimited text messages.
Sky Mobile doesn’t charge an upfront fee, so the first payment from your account will be £38. And that’s all.
As with all its contracts, Sky Mobile will never count 5G or 4G data used in Sky-branded apps towards your monthly allowance. That means you’ll be able to stream boxsets like The Last Of Us, Euphoria, House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, as well as coverage from Sky Sports, films from Sky Cinema, and live television channels via Sky Go at no extra cost.
Sky Mobile’s contract is 36 months for the iPhone 15, with the option to switch to a new handset within two years, and 24 months for the SIM plan.
As mentioned above, the cheaper price is thanks to a promotion from Sky Mobile that has doubled its mobile data allowances without altering the price – so you’ll get 20GB of speedy 5G data for the same price as 10GB. That’s what has helped Sky Mobile steal the crown as the cheapest iPhone 15 preorder deal.
Cheapest iPhone 15 Plus deal
If you want the larger screen found on the iPhone 15 Plus at a cheap price, then look no further than Three.
For £42.75 per month, you’ll get the handset with 128GB of built-in storage (£899 when bought from the Apple Store) as well as a generous 30GB of 5G mobile data. Three includes unlimited calls and text messages.
As soon as you’re started as a Three customer, you’ll be able to access to its Three+ rewards scheme. This is designed to rival the likes of O2 Priority and offers discounts to cinema tickets, early access to some of the biggest music and comedy gigs in the UK, as well as free coffees, meal deals and other perks from high street chains. It’s a nice little bonus.
The only small print to note about this deal is the £40 upfront charge. Coupled with the first month of your contract, that’s an initial outlay of £82.75, which might be a little too much for some people to stomach. However, if you’ve got the cash to spend upfront, it’s worth it for the overall savings at the end of the contract period.
Who did we determine the cheapest iPhone deal?
With hundreds of pay monthly deals available, we decided to compare deals with between 20-30GB of mobile data. While it might be possible to find lower monthly bills, these only boast 2-3GB of 5G mobile, which isn’t enough to take advantage of the flagship features built into these smartphones.
From uploading 24MP photos from the all-new camera sensor to social media, backing up Spatial Video to iCloud, streaming YouTube videos and downloading boxsets from Disney+ over the speedy 5G connection, making and receiving FaceTime calls, streaming music and podcasts, sending photos on WhatsApp, and playing the latest games on the A17 Pro chipset …you’ll need a healthy monthly allowance of mobile data to make the most of your flagship smartphone.
While 20-30GB per month should be more than enough for most people, others will be able to survive on much less (and some data-hungry iPhone owners will definitely need more).
We’d always recommend checking the data usage of your current phone to make sure you don’t overpay for too much data. Most mobile networks include this feature in their mobile apps, or you can check in your iPhone settings too.
Head to Settings > Mobile Data to find the amount of data used in total, as well as the apps that use the majority of your 4G or 5G data. If you want to start tracking for a select period, scroll down and tap Reset Statistics. You’ll then be able to see the amount of mobile data used by your iPhone clock-up under the Current Period tab.
