Reading match abandoned after fans storm pitch in protest against owner – video


Reading’s League One match against Port Vale was abandoned after home fans stormed the pitch in protest against the club’s owner, Dai Yongge. The game was called off in the 16th minute when fans refused to leave the pitch. ‘We appreciate supporters’ frustrations,’ Reading said in a club statement during the protest. ‘The club can face serious sanctions if the pitch is not cleared.’
