Reacher season 3 release date delayed? Alan Ritchson shares major update



Alan Ritchson came bearing fruits, but not all tasted good for the fans as the latest update stands that Reacher Season 3 will be back on screens but not until next year, according to a Collider report.

In an Instagram post, recently, Ritchson shared a photo that read, “The biggest name in action hits again in 2025,” followed by the series title. The period of the release points out that fans need to wait for a while and that it will take around a year since Season 2 of the series was released on digital platforms.

When will Reacher Season 3 arrive?

The production process for Season 3 began sometime before the premiere of Season 2 which happened last December, however, it is not very clear when the production would end, as Ritchson was recently spotted in April 2024, shooting for the new season.

Reacher Season 1 released in February 2022 adapted the first Jack Reacher novel, Killing Floor. The second season, however, was based on the eleventh novel of the writer which is titled as Bad Luck and Trouble. This Season 2 was shown weekly from December 15, 2023 to January 19, 2024.

How well has Reacher fared as a franchise?

Reacher has been one of the most successful shows on Prime Video and has even ranked as the top-rated title on the streaming platform beating many popular movies and series released back in 2023. Ritchson particularly had been praised for his performance as the drifter and former U.S. Army Military Police Major.
