As per a TOI report, National Capital Region Transport Corporation has compelted the viaduct, bridge that consists of a series of supporting an elevated railway or road, spanning approximately 25 kilometers on around 750 pillars. This achievement signals a step forward in the development of the corridor, which is set to enhance connectivity between Delhi and its neighboring regions.

The section’s viaduct now stretches from Sahibabad to Meerut South, marking a significant achievement in the corridor’s expansion.

Operational readiness is a priority for the project, as empty trains are currently being run on the 17-kilometer priority section (Sahibabad to Duhai Depot) to identify and address any potential technical issues before the section becomes fully operational. These trial runs, conducted at intervals of 15 minutes between 6am and 11pm, demonstrate a commitment to a seamless and reliable service.
